Dayna Marshall

mUvmethod Instructor

Dayna Marshall grew up in Utah where she trained in ballet, jazz, and tap. As a senior in high school she was accepted into the ballet department at the University of Utah where she received the Willam F. Christensen scholarship. She has performed numerous lead roles with Utah Ballet under the direction of Attila Ficzere and Conrad Ludlow, performed with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and completed her BFA in Ballet in 2006. Dayna then joined Odyssey Dance Theatre where she toured nationally and internationally from 2008­-2014. During her time with Odyssey she won Utah’s 2013 Best Of State Individual Dancer. She has performed choreography from Mia Michaels, Dee Caspary, Roni Koresh, Derryl Yeager, Eldon Johnson, Bonnie Story, Christian Denise and many others. She was also a dancer in the Capezio ACE Awards for Christina Bluth (2012).

Dayna has been teaching at dance studios and schools since 2003, teaching/traveling with Rapture Dance Intensive since 2010, and has performed with the Michigan based company Rapture Dance Project. She was a dancer for Glenn Beck’s “Man In The Moon” show (2013), and Discount Dance Supply published some of her images in Peddecord Photo’s 2014 Calendar. Dayna has performed for USANA and NuSkin Global conventions, performed live with world-renowned film score composer Hans Zimmer and his orchestra, modeled for XANGO and Icon Fitness. She is Yoga Alliance E-RYT certified and a certified mUvmethod instructor. Recently, she was the dance model for a sculpture by Benjamin Victor that has traveled the world winning prestigious realist art competitions. While dance has always been her passion, she is also a proud wife to husband, Matt, and mother to a little girl, Jade.

Molly Davenport

mUvmethod Instructor

Molly grew up in Taylorsville, UT where she trained in jazz, ballet, clogging and tap. She started her career with Odyssey Dance Theatre as a senior in high school when she was accepted into their training program, Odyssey II (2005-2007). Molly trained at two summer programs with Lines Ballet School in San Francisco, where she was also awarded a scholarship (2007-2008). She has worked as a dancer for USANA on several occasions, was a dancer for Glenn Beck’s “Man in the Moon” (2013), and was featured in Christopher Peddecord’s Discount Dance Supply Calendar (2014).

Molly spent eight years dancing for and touring with Odyssey Dance Theatre (2007-2015), where she had the opportunity to perform works by several world renowned choreographers including Derryl Yeager, Eldon Johnson, Roni Koresh, Bonnie Story, and Christian Denice. She has had the opportunity to perform in the Off Broadway Productions of “Cats,” “Tarzan,” “Grease,” “The Little Mermaid,” “The Wizard Of Oz,” and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat” at the Tuacahn Amphitheatre in St. George, Utah. She teaches ballet, contemporary, jazz, and is also Scholé Yoga Level 1 certified and a mUvmethod instructor. She is grateful for all of the wonderful opportunities she has encountered through dance, and enjoys sharing her passion with her students.

Brittany Kuresa

mUvmethod Instructor

Brittany has been teaching and choreographing jazz for over seven years. She has previously taught at Lifehouse Performing Arts Academy and BYU ballet and modern summer camps. She has a fierce passion for sharing dance whether performing it or teaching it. She has trained in tap, hip hop, ballet, and jazz here in Utah ever since she moved from California at the age of 9. She trained under Laura King at Pulse 31 and has traveled across the country competing. At 17, she made The Cougarettes at BYU and danced with them for two years. At 18, while on the team she was invited to tour with Liz Imperio’s “Instincts Media Dance Company” and was flown back and forth to Los Angeles to train with them and toured with the company to perform in Madison, Wisconsin and Chihuahua, Mexico. She also worked with Kenny Ortega and Bonnie Story in the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. At 21 she made BYU’s Theater Ballet Company and Performed and toured with them for a year. She has danced a season in The Vibe’s professional show as a contemporary dancer. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Dance with an emphasis in Ballet. She also has a B.F.A. in Arts and Visual Communications with emphasis in Graphic Design from Utah Valley University. Above all she is proud of her three children, Maili of 5 years, Kainoa of 2 years, and Matai of 10 months.

Megan Berry

mUvmethod Instructor

Megan has been dancing since she was three years old, training extensively in ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap and hip-hop in her hometown of Huntsville, AL. She attended Brigham Young University on both academic and dance scholarships and graduated with B.A. in Dance. During her time at BYU, Megan was a member of the Ballet Showcase Company and also performed with Theatre Ballet. She then went on to dance with the National Champion Cougarettes for 3 years. Megan taught several dance classes for the University and has worked teaching dance camps and classes to various high schools and studios across the nation for several years. At the end of her college career, she was introduced to Ashtanga yoga and found it to be an incredible complement to dance training for both body and mind. Finding mUvmethod was serendipitous, as it presented an opportunity to blend and share the two worlds she has grown to love. Megan is grateful for the chance to teach and share her passion for both yoga and dance. She and her husband, Matt, are also proud parents of 3 little girls, Bailey, Elle, and Sierra.

Averie Bird

mUvmethod Instructor

Averie Bird is a dancer at heart. She trained for 15 years in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Ballroom at Center Stage Performing Arts Academy. She went on to tour and star in Louis Van Amstel’s Ballroom with a Twist for two years, performed on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and was featured in Disney’s second and third High School Musical movies.

Averie started practicing yoga in 2012 as a way to keep her mind and body healthy and grounded. After practicing Bikram yoga for two years, Averie competed in her first regional USAYOGA competition and placed 2nd in the region. In 2016 Averie competed and placed third in the region and top 50 at the USAYOGA national yoga competition. And in 2018 Averie competed for a third time and placed 11th overall in the women’s division.

In 2015 Averie completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Core Power Yoga and completed her 60 hour extension program at mUvmethod in the summer of 2016.

Averie currently teaches Jazz and Contemporary at Creative Arts Academy and is the co-director of their Teen and Junior Performing Companies. She also travels and judges for Relve’ Dance Convention.

Averie could not be more happy to be a part of the mUvmethod team.

Laila Hardman

mUvmethod Instructor

Laila has distinguished herself in the field teaching and choreography for many years. She has choreographed for commercials, televised NFL half time shows, trade and fashion shows and has been awarded over 20 choreography awards. Laila was also nominated for a Heartland Emmy award for a commercial she choreographed for Starz/Encore. She danced and served as a dance captain for the Denver Nuggets Cheerleaders and has choreographed for the Denver Nuggets and Denver Bronco Cheerleaders. She has been seen on Extreme Makeover UK as part of the “Dream Team” and patented “Air Guitar Aerobics” in Europe.

Laila served as a private dance coach for several Disney Mickey Mouse Club members, most notably Justin Timberlake. Many of her former dancers can be seen on Broadway as well as in music videos, commercials, on NBA and NFL dance teams, and on tour with artists such as Rihanna, and Taylor Swift. Laila worked as the Associate Artistic Director for the award winning Starstruck Dance Academy in Denver, Colorado, was the founder of Extreme Dance London located in London, England, was a teacher for Pineapple studios in London, was a faculty member of the dance convention, Dance Raw and was owner and director The Dance Project SLC in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. She also is the owner and director of the professional dance company “Urban Fairytalez”. She is ERYT 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification in Vinyasa, holds a certification in Biomechanics and is currently working on her 300 hour yoga certification.

Annie Browne

mUvmethod Instructor

Annie is a freelance dancer and dance educator currently living in New York City. Her early training in Little Rock, Arkansas introduced her to ballet, pointe, hip hop, jazz, and contemporary dance. She began her pre-professional training under Arleen Sugano and joined Ballet Arkansas’ Second Company at the age of 14. Annie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet from the University of Utah, where she also earned her Ballet Studio Teaching Certificate. While at University, Annie was privileged to have studied from professors such as Maggie Wright Tesch, James Ady, Jan Fugit, Melonie Buchanan-Murray, Michael Bearden, and Jay Kim. She has been challenged to dance versatile works by choreographers such as Val Canaparoli, Eric Handman, and Tong Wang, among others.

Annie has experience teaching all levels—from two-year olds to adults. In addition to ballet, she has taught creative movement, jazz, contemporary dance, a boys movement class, and strength and conditioning classes. She is a Level 1 & 2 Certified Instructor in mUvmethod, a safe and effective stretch and conditioning program for dancers. Annie is a staff member at Ballet Tech: The NYC Public School for Dance
(Founder—Eliot Feld); and teaches at The School at Peridance and Ballet Arts: The Performing Arts Center of Southern Westchester.

Sarah Klassen

mUvmethod Instructor

Explosion Dance, Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada

Sarah grew up in Edmonton, AB and started dancing at the age of 9 in ballet, highland, jazz, tap, lyrical, and modern. She is a graduate of the Edmonton School of Ballet and performed with the Edmonton Festival Ballet Company. After graduation, she started her teaching career becoming a certified Royal Academy of Ballet instructor as well as her Highland Dance Teacher Associate.

She has been teaching in the Grande Prairie area for over 25 years and makes it her passion to always be learning. She recently obtained her Level 1 certification in Acrobatic Arts, more to settle her ballet heart about the safety of acro.

She began the Muv Method Stretch Academy because she believes very strongly in the safety of stretching. mUvmethod is that program that she can make sure that her dancers have their bodies for life. Along with the Stretch Academy, she is constantly learning from Lisa Howell with Ballet Blog, obtaining her Level 1 and Mental Skills Training with Lauren Ritchie from Calgary, Alberta.

She hopes with these great programs behind her, she will be teaching for another 25 years passing on all her knowledge to her students.

Margarita Camera

mUvmethod Instructor

Director, Hype Danz Studio

Margarita was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Her versatility in dance stems from exploring different genres throughout her life. She has trained extensively in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Highland and Greek Dancing. After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University, Margarita went on to open her own dance studio in Courtice, Ontario in 2004. She continues to oversee her growing dance studio and now coaches and mentors over 300 students.

Margarita’s credentials are far-reaching and extensive. She has trained since the age of 3 with the British Association of Teacher’s of Dancing in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Highland. She holds an Elementary Diploma in the Ballet Division, Associates and Member’s Diploma in the Stage (Jazz/Tap) Division, and an Associates Diploma in the Highland Division. She is a fully certified Zumba Instructor and has completed her Level 1 & 2 Acrobatic Arts Certification. She is certified in both Module 1 and 2 of Alixa Flexibility. She has completed her AcroDance Competition Adjudicator’s Certification through Acrobatic Arts and is a member of the Professional Adjudicator’s Alliance. She has just recently completed her mUvmethod Level 1 and 2 Stretch Academy Instructor certification.

Margarita has worked for many organizations teaching dance across the city including U Got Dance and The City Of Oshawa. She has volunteered her time and choreographed routines for many benefits and functions. Margarita believes that knowledge is power and continues to improve and learn by attending workshops, conventions and master classes every year in order to progress in dance.

In addition to dance, Margarita enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with her husband, her 2 daughters – Maria and Vanessa and her Frenchton Luna.

Shannon Mundorf

mUvmethod Instructor

Senior Director of Arts and Risk Management, Certified Praesidium Guardian – NORTH SUBURBAN YMCA

Shannon Mundorf is the Senior Director of the North Suburban School of Dance in Northbrook, Illinois. She began dancing in the suburbs of Chicago under the direction of Kristin Hild and teachers such as Eddy Ocampo, Sinead Gildea and Kathleen McCann. Shannon graduated summa cum laude from Illinois State University with a degree in Dance Performance and Business Administration. While attending ISU, Shannon was a performing member of the Illinois State Dance Theatre and was featured in numerous guest artist works including those from Julie Tice of the Paul Taylor Company, Joanna Rosenthal of Same Planet Different World Dance Company and Melinda Jean Myers of the Trisha Brown Dance Company. After graduating, Shannon was able to work wit hthe Dance Theatre of Tennessee, Elements Contemporary Ballet Company, and River North Dance Chicago prior to her role with the North Suburban School of Dance. Shannon truly enjoys working with all of her students, helping them to succeed beyond the studio.

Tiffany Annan

Tiffany Annan was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada where she began her dance training at the age of 3. She has extensive training in Polynesian, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Street, Commercial, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Contemporary, Irish and Afro Cuban. After a successful career as a competitive dancer, Tiffany went on to become a teacher and choreographer.

In 2012, Tiffany decided to take a leap of faith and move to London, England. Her adventures lead her to become a faculty member of the London Dance Project and in 2016, she became the Owner and Artistic Director. With over 30 years of training and 20 years of teaching experience, she has coached several competitive companies in London each year. Recently, Tiffany relocated back to Vancouver, BC where she is once again teaching and choreographing for local studios. She has adjudicated many dance competitions; both in person and virtually. Tiffany was the assistant choreographer for up and coming artist Little Pale’s debut music video ‘Don’t You Know U’. She has worked with Adam Garcia in collaboration with the brand Positive Luxury. She was the assistant choreographer for the “Magic & Illusion Festival,” a travelling magic show which headlined world famous magicians such as Shawn Farquhar, Julianna Chen, Kevin James and Omar Pasha. She has been hired by the ex-CEO of MTV Networks to choreograph at private events and was the movement director in the West End production of Ben Hecht’s ‘The Screenwriters Daughter’ which performed out of Leicester Square Theatre.

Outside of Dance, Tiffany’s hobbies include Cycling, Crafting, Powerlifting and Yoga.

Tiffany is a firm believer in continuous personal growth and likes to lead by example for both her daughter and her students. Always wanting to diversify herself as a teacher, Tiffany is constantly seeking to increase her knowledge and skillset.  She is absolutely thrilled to join the mUvMethod family and looks forward to sharing her knowledge and energy with everyone.

Chrisoula (Patricia) Piperas

mUvmethod Instructor

LM Premier Dance – Cedar Lake, IN

Patricia started dancing at the age of 3. With extensive background in ballet, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and tap, she has also trained in The Joffrey Ballet summer intensives. After expanding her dance career on to the competitive stage, where she earned regional and national awards, Patricia found her passion for teaching through mentoring and assistant teaching roles.

Patricia went on to graduate from Loyola University Chicago performing with The Dance Company while earning her B.A. in International Studies with a minor in Management. During her time at Loyola, Patricia became an instructor at LM Premier Dance (her home studio) and has been part of the family for over 15 years now.

Currently, she is the Co-Director of LM Premier’s Dance Team and is working towards her M.B.A. from Loyola. She hopes to continue to spread the love of dance while promoting safe and effective stretching techniques through her Level 1 and 2 Stretch Academy certifications!

Amy Holly

mUvmethod Instructor

Amy began dancing at age 5 in Westerly, Rhode Island where she trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and modern. At age 8, she began dancing competitively and participated in competitions and conventions throughout New England.

Amy then continued her education at Rhode Island College in Providence and graduated cum laude with a BA in Dance Performance in 2009. While at RIC, Amy was the co-director of the RIC Dance Company where she had the pleasure to work with Gus Solomans Jr., Jennifer Nugent and Paul Matteson, Katie McNamara, Heidi Henderson, Michael Bolger, Eva Marie Pacheco, Kellie Ann Lynch, Art Bridgman and Myrna Packer, and Nathan Andary, among others. Amy also expanded her dance style into musical theater and served as the Assistant Choreographer for HAIR her senior year. In addition to receiving Special Talent Awards in Dance throughout her college career, she was also the recipient of the Yetta Rauche Melcer Dance Department Award in 2009.

After college, Amy danced with Providence Ballet Theatre and Mystic Moves Dance Theater.

Amy has taught in studios in Rhode Island, South Carolina, and currently teaches in Mystic, Connecticut on both recreational and competitive levels and to students of all ages. Amy’s contemporary choreography was featured in the All Star Performance at World Ballet in 2018. She is also Module 1 Certified with Acrobatic Arts and recently became a Level 1 and 2 certified mUvmethod instructor. Amy was ecstatic to discover mUvmethod and very much believes in the science and methods the program is based on.

Natalija Pavlović

mUvmethod Instructor

Born in a small town in Slovenia and started dancing in high school as there was no dancing school nearby. At the age of 15 she started dancing under the mentorship of a teacher who performed for Mariah Carey and danced there for 3 years. Later on she moved to a bigger city and started dancing and performing with ladies in solo salsa with one of the best salsa teachers in the country. While falling in love with dance she also tried other styles such as carneval samba, salsa in pair and chair dance, where she joined a group who was performing in all kinds of events and commercials. In 2016 she joined a cheerleading group where she had the opportunity to perform at basketball games as well as in an Indian (Bollywood) movie that was filmed in Slovenia. In 2017 she  performed in Vienna with another amazing salsa teacher with choreography by Karel Flores. Since an injury that happened about 2 years ago, she is currently still enjoying dancing in high heels and hoping to improve and specialize herself more in safe and effective stretching for all dancers.
